About Broken Thistle Forge

Broken Thistle forge is my business that started as a hobby, and as demand grew, it turned into a business. I am a 100% disabled Army veteran, and I am also a paraplegic from a car accident. I didn't let that slow me down though. I have a custom shop built to accommodate life from a chair, including a custom anvil designed for a wheelchair, because I cannot use traditional anvils safely. I have been a welder for 14 years, mostly in ornamental iron, and even worked for almost 4 years in a welding shop in the wheelchair. Metal has been my life for almost a decade and a half, and I started my forge in 2018. I offer completely custom knifes, and work with customers to design their dream. All my drawings are done in CAD, and I do not start a build or charge any money until you love what I have designed.
